Neighbors in Need feeds the poor and hungry of Greater Lawrence by giving those who visit any one of our pantries a bag of groceries. These food bags are made up of healthy foods and may include a package of meat, rice & beans or pasta & sauce, a dairy item (milk, eggs or cheese), fruits, vegetables, and bread or cereal. We give food to those in need without judgement respecting the dignity of each individual. So that we can feed everyone in need, please limit your visits to no more than once per week. We also give out clothing, diapers, and baby formula at our office on Essex St. Food donations are accepted at our Warehouse located in Andover. If your group or organization would like to hold a food drive to benefit Neighbors in Need, we are able to pick up your donations, and also can provide you with a list of requested food items. Diaper, formula and clothing donations of all sizes are accepted at our office. We welcome volunteers, including volunteer groups as our program allows.
